What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra is often referred to as 'yogic sleep', a guided meditation practice that promotes deep relaxation and conscious awareness, allowing us to experience a state between wakefulness and sleep.

In a busy, fast-paced, frantic world where we are constantly required to be flitting from one thing to the other, Yoga Nidra welcomes deep rest, full relaxation, and time.

Yoga Nidra involves no physical movement. When our bodies are left to fully rest, our mind still moves through various stages of consciousness, offering unique benefits for relaxation and healing.

At La Tête, clients are invited to lie on a mat using eye pillows, bolsters, cushions, and a blanket. I encourage you to take time to relax and settle before being guided through a deep meditation practice and conscious rotation, moving your awareness around different parts of your body.

I work with visualisations and personal heartfelt intentions or resolve. As a holistic therapist, I also offer clients the opportunity to receive some gentle massage during the meditation.
